Weekends: A Balanced Approach

How has your weekend been?  Mine has been a blast so far and the perfect balance of active, healthy, and fun.  I went to a delicious dinner with friends on Friday night at Monza, where I enjoyed the best Caesar salad ever.  It comes complete with an egg (the best part); if you are ever in Charleston, you have to try it out.

I started Saturday morning bright and early with the Susan G. Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure where I ran the 5k as part of the Pure Barre Charleston team.

Saturday afternoon was rounded out with football, oysters, jambalaya, and friends.

Today is Sunday, which means my favorite part of the weekend.  Find out why by reading my most recent blog post, “Sunday Brunch: The Best Part of the Weekend,” for The Zesty Digest for Sweet Lemon Magazine.

What have you done with your weekend?  Were you able to squeeze in any healthy activities??  Please share!

Start your Weekend off Right

To have the healthiest weekend possible, get started on the right track.  Knowing you’ve made good decisions from the get-go, and not wanting to reverse the effects of those choices, will make it easier to stay motivated throughout the rest of the weekend.

My Friday started off with an early morning workout at Pure Barre Charleston!
