Yogi Tea Giveaway!

Happy Friday, everyone!  You’ve almost made it through the work week!

To start the weekend off right, I am announcing a Yogi giveaway!!!  Yogi was kind enough to send a hand picked selection of six of their favorite teas for one lucky Parsley & Dill reader!  As you all know, I am a huge fan of Yogi teas (especially Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life) and am actually sipping on a hot cup of the Peach Detox tea as I write this.

Healthy Happenings

Hi, everyone, and happy Hump Day!  Do you know why its an exciting week?!  Because on Monday, I officially began the Health Coach Training Program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).  What does the program entail?  Well, it is an eleven month online program with a curriculum that addresses over 100 dietary theories, counseling techniques, and business training.  What specifically drew me to IIN’s program is the holistic approach that it takes when it comes to health and wellness.  At the end, I will be qualified to become a certified Health Coach through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, an independent professional association for holistic healthcare professionals.

I’m not quite sure what I’ll do with my certification (I’ve got a year to think about it), but I am eager to apply what I will be learning regarding nutrition to my personal lifestyle and dietary habits.  Also, as part of my training, I will begin completing health histories halfway through the program, during which I will need some willing participants to work with me!

I also began teaching Reformer Pilates classes at Exhale Pilates Studio this week!  I’ll be teaching there 2-3 mornings per week while one of the owners is out on maternity leave.  I am thrilled to be in their studio more often, as well as to get to know all of their wonderful clients!
